“We have purchased new flags and they will be flown for the first time at this event,” Hurtt said. “We are proud of the success of this event in the past and look forward to an even greater success this year.”

The annual event is sponsored by the New Bloomfield Area Civic Association.

Participants are urged to bring their own lawn chairs for the event in the park next to the New Bloomfield Fire Protection District building. A new shelter has been erected in the city park.
