Luau-themed trivia night to benefit Kingdom Projects, Inc.

As it has for the past 16 years, Kingdom Projects, Inc. will be hosting its annual fundraising Trivia Night on Saturday, Nov. 9.

This year, its theme will be "luau" and will feature a traditional, hand-carved whole hog with an apple in its mouth, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and, naturally, trivia. The night is one of Kingdom Project's premiere fundraising events, and because the organization is non-profit, they need all the money they can get.

"Every little penny helps," said Charlene Chiles, one of the event organizers.

The cost is $200 for each team of eight, and the price includes registration and all food and drink for the night. Teams can register as late as Nov. 7.

To help the tornado-stricken people of Dumas and surroundings, donations can be made to the Delta Area Disaster Relief Fund, care of the Delta Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 894, Dumas, AR, 71639, or through the Arkansas Community Foundation, 700 S. Rock St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
