Eight Blue Jays receive all-UMAC football status

The Westminster College Blue Jays had eight players, including three first-team selections, named this past week to the 2013 all-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference football team.

Chosen to the first team from Westminster were senior linebacker Josh Bromberg, senior defensive back Jeremy Hampton and freshman kicker Jeff Dickerson. Second-team picks for the Blue Jays included senior running back Ronnie Seals Jr., senior defensive lineman Louvis Johnson, junior defensive lineman Kyle Bryant and freshman wide receiver Mike Washington.

Westminster senior wide receiver Troy Temple also received the all-UMAC Individual Sportsmanship Award.
