Tested Hornets try to extend season vs. No. 5 Pintos

Through nine regular-season games and one in district play, there's not a lot that the Fulton Hornets football team hasn't seen.

Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse.

"We've been in tight games, we've been up big and lost the lead, we've been up big and kept the lead, we've come from behind, we've been in shootouts, we lost on the last play of the game," Fulton head coach Pat Kelley said Monday. "There's not a lot we haven't been through and - at this time of the year - that helps."

The fifth-seeded Hornets used their second fourth-quarter comeback of the season to knock off No. 4 Chillicothe to open Class 3, District 6 play last Thursday night. Tonight, Fulton will encounter its third state-ranked foe this season when it travels to California to confront the top-seeded Pintos in the district semifinals. Kickoff is at 7.
