The American Legion placed more than 1,400 American flags at the graves of veterans buried in Fulton Wednesday, with about 630 going up in Callaway Memorial Gardens alone. The group also furnishes flags for those with loved ones buried out in the county by contacting David Beaver at (573) 642-5479 or Allan Nelson at (573) 642-8360.
