Fulton man arrested for burglary, possession

A Fulton man faces several charges after being apprehended during an attempted burglary early Saturday morning.

The Fulton Police Department responded to a call at 4:15 a.m. regarding a burglary in progress at a residence in the 300 block of East Fifth Street.

According to an FPD press release, officers observed an individual inside the property when they arrived - later identified as Nathaniel "Dante" Quick, 23.

The release states that Quick attempted to leave, but upon seeing the officers went back into the the residence "to try to evade officers."

He was taken into custody without further incident.

Quick was arrested on charges of second degree burglary, resisting arrest by fleeing and possession of marijuana.

He was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held on a total of $9,500 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
