The Callaway County Commission has teamed up with the State Public Defender's Office to buy a new four by eight-foot sign erected in front of the County Office Building at 2800 Cardinal Drive in Fulton.

Cardinal Drive runs mainly parallel to and on the east side of U.S. 54 just off the Route HH intersection with the highway.

Callaway County Western District Commissioner Doc Kritzer said some people were having difficulty locating the Public Defender's Office and that led to erection of the sign.

"The sign was made by Missouri Vocation Enterprises of the Missouri Department of Corrections. We shared the cost with the Public Defender's Office," Kritzer said.
