The No. 20 William Woods University Lady Owls held Missouri Baptist University without a basket for almost 11 minutes in the second half Thursday night, ultimately coasting to a 69-43 AMC victory at Anderson Arena.
William Woods recorded its fourth consecutive win, raising its season record to 16-2 while remaining in a tie with No. 18 Lyon (Ark.) College for second place in the American Midwest Conference at 7-1. Missouri Baptist - losers of four straight - dropped to 6-14 overall and 3-5 in conference play.
