ASHLAND — Junior guard Jaida Gray and junior forward Maddie Sorell combined for 43 points Wednesday night to spark the North Callaway Ladybirds to a 62-45 victory over Southern Boone.
North Callaway — halting a two-game losing streak — raced to a 23-8 lead after one quarter and went into halftime with a 35-17 advantage. The Ladybirds were up 44-29 entering the fourth quarter.
