Hornets show offensive spark in win over Osage

When a play designed to end in an alley-oop layup manages to bank off the backboard for a 3-pointer, one usually takes that as a good sign for the rest of the game.

Fulton Hornets head coach Ryan Shaw wasn’t convinced just yet, though.

“I knew that (the shot) went in,” Shaw said with a chuckle. “I don’t know if it indicated if it would be a good game, but it was pretty entertaining.”

But everything turned out fine for the Hornets, who rebounded from poor offense in recent outings to beat the School of the Osage Indians 55-40 on Tuesday night at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
