The Callaway and Montgomery County Cattlemen's Association, an affiliate of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, will be meeting for the first time in years 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Callaway Livestock Center.
Cattlemen's Association Regional Vice President Greg Buckman said it will be the first time the Callaway and Montgomery chapter has held a meeting in "probably seven or eight years."
"I don't know why the chapter stopped having meetings," said Buckman. "I guess it's probably a loss of interest among leadership - typically what happens - and nobody took the time to reorganize it."
