Missouri Cattlemen’s Association returns to Callaway

First time group has met here in several years

The Callaway and Montgomery County Cattlemen’s Association, an affiliate of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, will be meeting for the first time in years 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Callaway Livestock Center.

Cattlemen’s Association Regional Vice President Greg Buckman said it will be the first time the Callaway and Montgomery chapter has held a meeting in “probably seven or eight years.”

“I don’t know why the chapter stopped having meetings,” said Buckman. “I guess it’s probably a loss of interest among leadership — typically what happens — and nobody took the time to reorganize it.”
