Fulton sophomore forward NaShayla Brandt had the shot she wanted with the Lady Hornets down two and time expiring.

Brandt scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down nine rebounds, but Fulton came up a basket short in a 47-45 loss to the Kirksville Lady Tigers in Thursday night’s North Central Missouri Conference opener at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium.
