Fulton’s Chrysler dealership is reopening under a new name and ownership.

Starting this afternoon, Miller Chrysler will officially become Callaway Chrysler, Dodge Jeep Ram, under ownership of Bryant Chrysler out of Sedalia.

The location at 809 S. Westminster Ave. will be open early for service and parts, and plans on bringing in vehicles to their lot in the coming weeks. Though the dealership plans to expand its inventory over time, Bryant co-owner Kyle Herrick said that he planned to “see somewhere between 120-180 cars in that lot.”

Herrick said they opted to buy the Miller location because they wanted to expand to be a part of another smaller, non-metropolitan atmosphere.

“We like Fulton a lot, it reminds us a lot of Sedalia,” Herrick said. “We’re excited to be a part of the Fulton community We love the idea of being in a duel college town, we love the Callaway Nuclear Plant. It’s the kind of place where if you show up at Chamber events and you go downtown in the afternoon, it just reminds us a lot of the Sedalia atmosphere and we think it’s a good place to be.”
