William Woods' Harrison chosen for distinguished NAIA award

William Woods University baseball player Jacob Harrison - a Fulton native - has been honored with the NAIA Dr. Leroy Walker Award.

Harrison, a senior, is both the first William Woods student-athlete and first baseball player from the American Midwest Conference to be selected for the honor. The award is one of the most prestigious in the NAIA and was created as part of the organization's association with Citizenship Through Sports Alliance, a group of sports organizations that promote and recognize sportsmanship.
