In her address to the South Callaway Board of Education in their regular meeting Thursday, district superintendent Mary Lynn Battles said the school board would take part in a "cutting edge" collaborative project in conjunction with the Show-Me Conference and the Heart of Missouri Regional Professional Development Center.
The program would promote collaboration among educators in other districts on a larger scale than had been accomplished previously via a network of teachers across grade levels. The program will utilize technologies such as video conferences to aid the process.
"We would be taking assessments, looking at data pulled from each other's experiences and have the advantage of many more resources," she said. "It'd be networking with teachers conference-wide."
