FESTUS — The South Callaway Lady Bulldogs are moving on in the state softball playoffs.
South Callaway advanced with a 4-2 victory over Jefferson (Festus) in the Class 2 sectionals Wednesday night. Further details were not available at press time.
The Lady Bulldogs (19-8) will now host defending Class 2 state champion Palmyra (24-4) in the state quarterfinals Saturday. The start time has not been determined. Palmyra reached the quarterfinals with a 16-0 sectional romp over Elsberry (14-8) on Wednesday night.
