Deputies arrest two with felony warrants

Callaway County Sheriff deputies took two men to jail Wednesday who had outstanding felony warrants for their arrest on previous charges.

Arrested were:

• Robert "Justin" Vaught, 22, of 12369 County Road 4031, Holts Summit. Vaught was arrested on a charge of failure to appear in court on warrants for resisting arrest and domestic assault. He also was arrested for possession of illegal drugs with the intent to distribute.

• Paul McKibben, 26, of 4201 Crim Court, Jefferson City. McKibben was arrested on a charge of failure to appear in court on a burglary charge.

Deputies from the Callaway County Sheriff's Office reported they observed Vaught operating a vehicle at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday on County Road 4012 near Holts Summit. After a traffic stop, Vaught was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court.
