Even in the early weeks of the season, Fulton Hornets head baseball coach Darren Masek had faith in his pitching.
Masek knew he had a deep array of able arms and he knew that, eventually, they’d show the opposition what they could bring to the plate.
The last five games have seen the Fulton arms reward Masek’s patience.
The latest was a five-inning, one-hit effort from sophomore starter Dalton Horstmeier in the Hornets’ 10-3 win over the Marshall Owls in the semifinals of the 18th-annual Fulton Tournament on Wednesday night at the high school athletic complex.
