New Bloomfield Mayor Terry Shaw faces opposition from Michael Lowe Sr. in the April 3 city election.
Shaw said he decided to seek the office again because he was asked to do so by New Bloomfield residents interested in a well-run city government.
“We have a good group of people on the council. I believe the city is providing good and efficient service to the people of New Bloomfield,” Shaw said.
“We have a well managed infrastructure of streets and utilities and our Police Department provides good security for our residents,” Shaw said.
