Fulton head wrestling coach Eric Hudson is realistic when it comes to prognosticating his Hornets' team prospects for this week's state championships.
So Hudson is asking his qualifiers to be a little selfish.
Led by junior Cody Pae - who captured a title at 126 pounds - Fulton advanced five wrestlers to state during the Class 2, District 2 championships that concluded Saturday at Mexico.
Also moving on to state for the Hornets are senior Zack McClure, who finished second at 145 pounds, and sophomores Jared Keiser, John Kingsley and Paul Books, who took third at 106, 170 and 182 pounds, respectively.
