Beginning Dec. 10, visitors to the Callaway Community Hospital's emergency room will need to enter through the main entrance while the hospital expands the ER's waiting room and entrance.
Hospital CEO Allen AufderHeide said the temporary changes would take about four weeks for the duration of the construction. The project will add approximately 2,500 square feet to the waiting room.
"It's an exciting time for the hospital, and we are making every effort to keep access to our services as open and convenient as possible during (construction)," AufderHeide said.
