New CFO hired at Westminster College

Philip J. Daniels is the new vice president for business and chief financial officer at Westminster College in Fulton.

"I am confident that my private higher education experience," Daniels said, "will be an asset to President Forsythe and the Board of Trustees as we look to achieve the initiatives of the College Strategic Plan."

Daniels is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of Westminster College. He also will manage and provide leadership, strategic planning and coordination for the Finance Division of the college. He also will serve as treasurer to the college's board of trustees.

In addition to his fiscal responsibilities, Daniels will direct the renovation, maintenance and care of buildings and grounds as well as oversee the Human Resource and Information Technology offices.

Daniels was last employed by Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. At Walsh he served as vice president for finance and business affairs, chief financial officer and treasurer since 2006.
