Electronic filing of court cases is on the horizon for the Boone-Callaway 13th Judicial Circuit Court, Callaway County Circuit Clerk Judy Groner said Monday.
Groner said long-term savings from reduced costs are expected to offset short-term higher expenses.
“Missouri’s entire court system is moving toward having all filing of cases to be done electronically,” Groner said.
The Missouri Supreme Court and the 11th Judicial Circuit in St. Charles County are pilot projects of the Missouri Electronic Filing System.
