Mid-Mo Writing Expo comes to Fulton

Those who love to tell a good story will have the opportunity to mingle among other writers this Saturday.

This year’s Mid-Mo Writing Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Westminster College. The theme for the Writing Expo, which is open to the public, is “Immortal Words” and will feature local, established authors and workshops that illuminate techniques for different aspects of the writing craft.

The keynote speaker is Randall Fuller, professor of English at Drury University and the author of “Emerson’s Ghosts” and “From Battlefields Rising.” Other featured authors include Margo Dill, memoir editor at High Hill Press; Matthew Murrie, author of “Every Minute on Earth” and “Guide to the Planet”: Margot Ford McMillen, author of six books and numerous articles about Missouri issues, heritage, women, conservation and history, including her most recent title “The Golden Lane: How Missouri Women Gained the Vote and Changed History”; and Lori Robinett, part of the Mid-Mo Writing Group and author under the name Elle Robb.
