Fulton man injured when car rolls into creek

Ian S. Culverhouse, 53, Fulton, suffered moderate injuries Friday when his car rolled off of State Road F and into Stinson Creek, the Fulton Police Department reported.

Emergency responders were called to the accident at 9:30 a.m. Friday when a single vehicle was found lying on its top in the creek bed with the driver, Culverhouse, trapped inside. Members of the Fulton Fire Department extracted Culverhouse and the Callaway County Ambulance District transported him to University Hospital in Columbia.

According to the FPD, alcohol is suspected as playing a part in the accident. The department will continue its investigation to determine if any charges will be filed.
