Boonville produced three first-half goals and made them stand up in a 3-2 NCMC victory over the Fulton Lady Hornets soccer team Wednesday night at Morgan Soccer Complex.
Fulton — which shut out the Lady Pirates 5-0 on April 1 in Boonville — dropped to 14-4 overall and 7-4 in the North Central Missouri Conference after Wednesday night’s loss. As the No. 2 seed, the Lady Hornets will get another crack at the No. 3 Lady Pirates in the semifinals of the Class 2, District 10 Tournament at noon Saturday in Boonville.
Boonville jumped on Fulton in the first half Wednesday night, scoring goals in the 5th, 13th and 18th minutes to build a 3-0 advantage going into the break.
