Grand Parade marshal, theme chosen

NASCAR fans will be excited to learn the theme for this year’s Grand Parade at the Fulton Street Fair is Brickstreet 40 “Racing through the Streets of Fulton.”

“We know there’s a lot of NASCAR fans in the County of Callaway,” said Rob Bristow, chair of the Grand Parade committee. “Maybe this will get more people involved in the parade that may not necessarily have been involved with it in the past.”

An avid racing fan was chosen to be the parade’s grand marshal — Roger Moser. Moser’s designation as grand marshal was announced Tuesday evening at the Chamber After Hours gathering.
