Seguin, Cowherd are featured speakers at two WWU commencement ceremonies Saturday

On Saturday 444 students will receive diplomas during commencement at William Woods University.

Because of the high number of graduates, two commencement ceremonies will be held. The first will be for undergraduates at 10 a.m. and the second will be at 3 p.m. for graduate students. Both ceremonies will be at Cutlip Auditorium of the McNutt Campus Center.

Romaine Seguin, a WWU graduate and the new president of United Parcel Service Americas Region, will be the undergraduate commencement speaker in the morning.

Graduate students in the afternoon will hear from Dr. Jacques Cowherd, superintendent of Fulton Public Schools.

So I take it the Fulton paper has jumped on the band wagon like all the rest of the papers, it appears we need subscriptions to read the stories.

Can't hardly stay in business giving them away for free can they? I guess they could throw a bunch of pop-up ads on here but no one likes that either. Now if they could just get tax money from the government...

So, what is the value of Fultonsun.com?

For me, I have no interest in getting a newspaper delivered to me. I do not want to deal with it getting stolen, dealing with a stack of papers building up, and having to take them to the recycling bin.

I check once or twice a week and spend probably 5-10 mins a week. I might be willing to pay $9.99 a year for access. I do not miss the JC news tribune or the Columbia Tribune either.

This our still other places that are for free that do a good job. krcgtv's website is very good.
