Better to start bad and finish strong than the other way around.
At least that’s how Fulton head coach Darren Masek saw it as his Hornets found themselves down 5-1 after one inning Friday night against the Mexico Bulldogs.
Mind you, this is the same team that spotted the Marshall Owls a 10-0, first-inning lead on April 14 and went on to stage a wild comeback, winning 12-11 in eight innings.
So five runs — not a big deal.
