On Monday and Tuesday the Fulton Police Department recovered several counterfeit bills from area businesses.

The FPD reported the counterfeit bank notes were in various denominations including $10, $20 and $100 bills.

"Some of the bills are quite obviously fake. Some of the others are better quality," said Sgt. Bill Ladwig, referring to the appearance of the counterfeit money.
