Not much of anything gets done before 9 a.m. on Saturday. Just don't tell that to the 42 participants in the third annual Fulton Triathlon. The first two crossed the finish line right around that time with what would be a pretty full day of exercise for most people.
Those who put their names in swam 200 meters (eight lengths of a 50-meter pool), biked 10 kilometers and topped it all off with a two-mile run ending in the parking lot at Fulton High School.
"It's a good way to jump start the day and get your blood flowing," Tony Rigdon, an avid triathlete and IT Specialist at Phoenix Programs in Columbia, said.
