A fireman keeps flames away from a nearby propane tank after a rural residence caught fire at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Firemen from the Central and South Callaway fire protection districts battled the blaze on Pitcher Road, a narrow, one-lane road off Route NN about six miles souith of Fulton. According to Central Fire Chief Greg Luebbert, no one was injured in the blaze and the home was a total loss.
