A dinner party for Westminster College international students who spent Christmas Day on the Fulton campus rather than going home demonstrated the willingness of the faculty and staff at the college to step up when needed, the woman who hosted the event said Wednesday.
Professor Catherine Pesce, Westminster academic assistance coordinator, said “this effort shows how the Westminster community comes together to help each other.”
Every year for the past 10 years Pesce has sent an e-mail to Westminster international students during semester final examinations inviting them to her home for Christmas dinner.
