To meet a neglected need, a foot-care clinic offering toenail clipping and related services is now offered once a month at the Callaway County Health Department, 4950 County Road 304 in Fulton.

Sharon Lynch, director of the Callaway County Health Department, said the service is needed because many seniors, diabetics, and disabled people need foot care because they cannot safely trim toenails on their own.

Lynch said the service will be provided by Kim Phillips, a board-certified foot care nurse. Phillips also is a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner.
