September saw a steady increase in COVID-19 cases and shakeups at the Fulton Housing Authority and Callaway Senior Center. It also saw Callawegians finding new and creative ways to care for each other, such as the "Mask a Vet" initiative that provided reusable facemasks for thousands of veterans in the region.

Texas fires Herman after four seasons, hires Alabama OC Sarkisian
Texas fired Tom Herman because it was tired of waiting for him to deliver a Big 12 title and turn the Longhorns back into national championship contenders.
