GARRETT
Roberta Fae Garrett, 79, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Roberta was born on February 11, 1945 in Mokane, Mo., the daughter of Ray and Blanche (Chaney) Litel, who preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage on May 3, 1968 in Fulton, Mo. to Ray Garrett Jr., who preceded her in death on May 15, 2009.
Roberta retired from the Fulton State Hospital after 20 years and spent the balance of her working career as a caregiver at Lee House in Eldon before returning to the Fulton area after her husband passed. In retirement she enjoyed working in her yard, doing word search puzzles, watching Lifetime Network, Curse of Oak Island and Mama June.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kim Adams (Dennis) of Fulton, Mo.; one son, Creag Garrett (Jennifer) of Auxvasse, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma White of Fulton, Mo. and Delma Dauer (Jack) of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Holden Adams, Austen Adams, Amber Bonney, Baylee Garrett, Mackenzie Garrett and Jaiden Garrett; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Litel, Richard Litel and Paul Litel and three sisters, Mary Stewart, Loretta Leeper and Shirley Peters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Guy Thomas officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo.
