Nancy Ann (Gamble) Fischer, 85, of Kingdom City, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones at her house.
Nancy was born on November 29, 1937 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of James and Lola (Zumwalt) Gamble, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She was an accomplished seamstress and a gifted craftsperson in all her creative endeavors. Nancy’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and spending time with them and her two cats, Pudge and Charlie. Mom was a second mother to several of our friends.
Survivors include: four sons, Roger Fischer (Janet) of Fulton, Mo., Russell Fischer (Shelly) of Loveland, Colo., Ron Fischer (Kim) of Auxvasse, Mo. and Randall Fischer (Missy) of Fulton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Brice Fischer, Adam Fischer, Tiffany Lawson, Aaron Fischer and Brooke Fischer; and six great-grandchildren, Evie, Hollis, Grayson, Myla, Gavin and Olivia.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica Fischer, and one brother, James “Jim” Gamble.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
