JOHNSON
Carolyn Jeanette Johnson, 80, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Carolyn was born on December 6, 1942 in Hams Prairie, Mo., the daughter of Alvin and Emma (Brauner) Kroll, who preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage in Fulton, Mo. to James Johnson, who preceded her in death.
Carolyn was a cook for several years in the Fulton area. She enjoyed crocheting, watching NASCAR and cheering her son, Spencer, on at local dirt tracks in his race car.
Survivors include: one son, Spencer Barnard (Pamela) of New Bloomfield, Mo.; one daughter, Pam Cottam of Fulton, Mo.; one brother, Rick Kroll (Teresa) of New Bloomfield, Mo.; five grandchildren, Wayne, Angie, Anthony, Alivia and Seara; five great-grandchildren, Raymon, Keara, Kade, Lillie and Delaney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Judith Abbott.
Private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Hams Prairie Cemetery in Hams Prairie, Mo.
There will be a celebration of life on June 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the VFW in Fulton Mo.
