William Clifford Richmond

William Clifford Richmond, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. William was born on June 18, 1937, to the late Otho Richmond and Luella (Nickens) Richmond Beard. On November 5, 1966, William was united in marriage to Della Mae Lucas who survives his passing. William attended Lincoln High School in Jefferson City, Mo. He retired from Harbison Walker Refractories. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist and generously volunteered his time. William, aka Grandpa/Pop William loved family gatherings and holidays. William was an amazing cook. He was well known for his homemade peach cobbler and chicken and dumplings. He welcomed all his family with open arms, food, laughter, and a warm smile. William knew everyone's birthday by heart and always reminisced with great detail about his life history and all the family events. If you wanted to know when something occurred, call William. He loved traveling, fishing, and hunting. All the grandkids loved getting early Morning donut holes. In his later years, he could be seen driving around with his little white Bichon. Along with his wife, Della Richmond, he is lovingly remembered by his sons, William (Billy) Glen (Tamika) of Nashville Tenn., Anthony Neal Richmond (Brianne) and Dexter Richmond (Mindy) of Fulton, Mo; daughters, Clarice Dailey of Atlanta, Ga., Mary Kay Glover (June), Regina Glover of Kansas City, Mo., Rachelle Richmond Malone (Mark) of Columbia, Mo.; brother, Larry Richmond of Fulton, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ernestine Lee Pittman; brothers, James, Howard, and Dewayne Richmond; grandson, Antawan Ferguson and grand dog, Sasha. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Callaway Christian Church. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
