Lucinda Zeugin

Lucinda Zeugin, 91, passed away on August 27, 2022, with family by her side, including her two surviving sons. Lucinda was born in Tebbetts, Mo. on August 18, 1931, to Ben and Hester Freeman Spencer. She was united in marriage to Norman H (Frog) Zeugin on January 1, 1949, together they had five children. During Lucinda's life she lived in the Mokane and Fulton area. Lucinda worked many years at the shoe factory and Wal-Mart in Fulton. She was known to have been the pitcher of the neighborhood baseball game for her sons and several other boys on East Whitlow Drive. A fond memory of her two living sons is of her using her mother's Singer Treadle sewing machine. Lucinda prided herself of always having Frog's back and the fact that she had never smoked tobacco or drank any alcohol throughout all of her life. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and attending Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Fulton. Lucinda is survived by her sons, Tom Zeugin Fulton, Mo., Ted and Debra Zeugin Fair Play, Mo.; son-in-law, Ronnie Clingman Fulton, Mo. and former son-in-law, Thomas Lee Braden Houston, Texas; 12 grandchildren, Tammie Doerhoff, Lance Clingman, Kylie Wingrath, Tom Braden, Tracy Strickland, Erik Braden, Odette, Kimberly, Andrew Zeugin, Zach Zeugin, Brittany Stephens, and Kaitlin Taylor; 19 great-grandchildren, multiple great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings along with her husband Norman Zeugin; her daughters, Rometta Clingman, Rita Braden; son, Spencer Zeugin; and great-grandson, Dalton Clingman. Graveside services were held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Bull Cemetery in Holts Summit.
