Clyde Dale Womack

Clyde Dale Womack, 72, passed away on September 30, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 25, 1949, to the late Raymond Womack and the late Elise (Proudy) (Womack) Burrows. Clyde worked at the State Hospital for many years until retiring. He then went on to become a CNA. He was very involved at his church, he was the head Deacon at New Beginnings Full Gospel and an Ordained Minister. Clyde also helped build three churches. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading his bible, playing the board game Aggravation and dominos, solitary, and fishing. Clyde was always willing to help a friend and enjoyed helping people in their time of need. Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family and had a soft spot for his grandchildren. Clyde will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Richard Womack, Kendale Allen, and John Allen; daughters, Laura Nichols, Becky Skaggs, and Bonnie Brantner; brothers, David and Donnie Womack; sisters, Betty Vaughn and Ruby Ellis; grandchildren, Brett Brady, Destini Newcomer, Eli Nichols, Zachary Dietz, Billy Burgess, Bethany Burgess, Tiffany Passmore, Tess Budig, Randy Chipman, Kenneth Allen III, Matthew Allen and Addison Allen; as well and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other family. In addition to his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by his sons, Randy Womack and Kenneth Allen Jr. brother, Jessie Raymond Womack; sisters, Louise Summers, Dorothy Irene Wells, and Charlotte Evelyn Cowans; grandchildren, Justyn Womack, Jaden Brady, Mikey Carlin, and Blaze Burgess. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Haldeman and Pastor Willie Leonberger officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
