Alberta Sanderson

Alberta Sanderson, 90, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Kingdom Care Nursing Home in Fulton, Mo. Alberta was born on August 3, 1932 in Fulton, Mo., the daughter Albert and Lola (Galbreath) Britt, who preceded her in death. She was married in Fulton, Mo. to Rudolph Sanderson, who preceded her in death on January 3, 2007. She was a member of St James United Methodist Church in Fulton, Mo. She enjoyed babysitting children, playing with her dog and drawing and being creative. She also adored spending time with friends and family. Survivors include:  two sons, David Sanderson (Deborah) of Fulton, Mo. and Gerald Sanderson (Mary) of Dallas, Ga.; one brother, Delbert Britt (Helen) of Fulton, Mo.; four sisters, Shirley Fry of Mexico, Mo., Edith Cole of Fulton, Mo., Mayana Henderson of Fulton, Mo. and Mildred Rice of East St. Louis, Ill.; four grandchildren, David Jr. Shatae, Rudy and Gerald Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Eli, Miles, Victoria, Jaylen, Jaxson and Alexandria; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by one sister. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Southside Cemetery in Fulton, Mo. with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
