Johnny Dewayne Johnson, age 68, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Therese Eileen Johnson, age 61, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. They both passed in Yuma, Arizona. Johnny was born on August 13, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Merle and Bessie (Harris) Johnson who preceded him death. Therese was born on April 14, 1961, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Ridgeway) Jonaitis. They were united in marriage on May 1, 2004, in Virginia Beach, Va. Johnny retired in March of 2021, from Bridgeway as the maintenance supervisor. Therese was a 1978 graduate of Putnam County High School in Unionville, Mo. and then graduated from Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City, Mo. with her LPN. She retired in July 2021, from Fulton Nursing and Rehab as a LPN. They enjoyed gardening, traveling, going to auctions, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends. They cherished their time together, but their favorite pastime was spoiling the grandchildren and attending their activities. Johnny’s survivors include: one son, Timothy Johnson of Fulton, Mo.; one daughter, Michelle Johnson of Fulton, Mo.; one brother, Larry Johnson (Kim) of Fulton, Mo.; two sisters, Brenda Wills (JW) of Fulton, Mo. and Lisa Trams (Paul) of Fulton, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Hunter, Jordan, Jessica, Connor, James, Asa, Jaren and Skyla; one great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Johnson and James Johnson. Therese’s survivors include: two daughters, Jennifer Badger of Columbia, Mo.and Stephanie Delashmutt (Ray) of Auxvasse, Mo.; mother, Henrietta Jonaitis of Millersburg, Mo.; father, Charles Jonaitis of Kansas City; three brothers, David Jonaitis (Julie) of Livonia, Mo., Anthony Jonaitis (Tammy) of Kansas City and Andrew Jonaitis of Millersburg, Mo.; one sister, Barbara Selvy of Kansas City; eight grandchildren, Hunter, Jordan, Jessica, Connor, James, Asa, Jaren and Skyla; one great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Jerry Badger. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Nick Drake officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton, Mo.
