Charles Ernest Coburn

Charles Ernest Coburn, 69, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. Charles was born on July 13, 1952, in Havre de Grace, Md., the son of Robert Ernest Coburn and Ellen Betty (Christensen) Coburn, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Cleburne, Texas. Charles was a computer programmer for Alcon in Ft. Worth, Texas and then at Tandy Corporation in Ft. Worth, Texas before retiring and moving to Fulton, Mo. He enjoyed playing racquetball, listening to classical music, collecting records learning about Kabbalah and Mongolian throat singing. He was also a longtime member of the Knowlton's Rangers, where he participated in several American Revolutionary reenactments and parades. Survivors include: two brothers, John Coburn (Susan) of Henniker, N.H. and Steve Coburn (Letha Young) of Fulton, Mo.; one sister, Tove Waldmann (David) of Wildwood, Mo.; and their families. Graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo.
