Jerome Sr. Henry Santoyo

Jerome "Jerry" Henry Santoyo Sr., 69, of Fulton, Mo., passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Jerome was born on September 26, 1952 in St Louis, Mo., the son of Richard and Marian (Dierkes) Santoyo, who preceded him in death. On October 26, 1975, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Simmons in Clayton, Mo. He retired in 2008 from Hewlett-Packard Company as an information systems technician. Jerry and Patty moved to the Fulton area 30 years ago, where they adored the outdoors and raised their family. A highly-skilled woodworker, Jerry also enjoyed photography, music, and grilling. Spending time with family and his German Shepherd Kennedy were top priorities for Jerry, and he will be missed by them. Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Patricia Santoyo; one son, Jerome "Jay" Henry Santoyo Jr. (Jessica) of Naperville, Ill.; one sister, Ruth Ann Hugge (John) of St. Louis County, Mo.; three grandchildren, Makaela Isabelle Santoyo, Adelyne Avery Santoyo and Jerome "Tre" Henry Santoyo III; three sisters-in-law, Anita, Mary and Tammy; one brother-in-law, Perry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family services will be held at a later date.
