Betty C. Hardin, 98, of Fulton, passed away at Fulton Manor Care Center on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She was born in Crystal City, Missouri on August 21, 1923, to the late Gilbert Graham and the late Bertha (Brown) Graham. On June 16, 1943, Betty married William Walter "Bill" Hardin who preceded her in death on August 13, 2020, following 77 years of marriage. Betty was an active member of First Christian Church of Fulton, Missouri. She sang in the choir for 50 years. Betty loved flowers and was a long-time member of the Fulton Garden Club, serving as President numerous times. She was also a member of the Federated Garden Club of Missouri and served as President of that organization. She loved growing her flowers and making arrangements for flower shows. She is survived by son, Steve Hardin of Fulton; and daughter, Becky Giovanini (Dan) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Amy Turosak of South Burlington, Vt., and William F. Hardin (Jessica) of Nashville, Tenn.; one granddaughter-in-law, Anna Gull Hardin of Richmond Va.; She is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Vinyard of St. Louis, and Peggy Willm of Festus; great-grandchildren, Poet Turosak of San Diego, Calif., Piper Turosak of South Burlington, Vt., Ainsley Hardin of Nashville, Tenn., and Adyson and Wyatt Hardin of Richmond, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Francisco "Kiko" Hardin.; and brothers, Connie and James Graham. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
