Roseann "Rose" Jacobs, 87, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Fulton Manor Care Center, surrounded by her family. Rose was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa on April 18, 1934, the daughter of Edward and Bernadette Kajewski. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, playing solitaire on her iPad, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan who never missed watching a game. During her younger years she and Jim enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing cards with friends and neighbors, and watching her kids play sports. In her later years she was blessed to have such dear friends to share her life with: Dutch Plybon, Nancy Houchins, Joellla Beegle, Thelma Turley, Donna Clark, and the late Wanda Wickell. You could always find Rose playing cards, dominoes, or anything competitive with her friends at Fulton Manor. Rose was a member of the Red Hats and Callaway Community Hospital Auxiliary Club. Rose will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by her children, DeLana (Frank) Fuller of Case Grande, Ariz., Delbert (Cara Wright) Jacobs of Columbia, Mo., John (Lana) Jacobs of Fulton, Mo., Diane (Bob Perkins) Bruemmer of Fulton, Mo., and Clara (Craig) Cannell of Fulton, Mo. Her greatest joy was being Grandma Rose to her 12 grandchildren, Laura (Terry) Ormeroid, Sam Fuller (Charity), Amber (Paul) Brevard, Christopher (Jessica) Bruemmer, Ryan (Lauren) Jacobs, Emily (Nate) Drury, Jessica (Russ) Hardaway, Leigha (Trevor) Brockman, Darren (Chelsea) Jacobs, Tricia Hook, Christa (Brady) Wulff and Alexia Rose Jacobs. Rose then became "Gigi" to her 20 great-grandchildren with her 21st on his way. In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren, she is survived by her two sisters, Patricia Hoss and MaryEllen Benz, along with numerous nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; sisters, Kay Jones and Elaine Conlon; and brother, James Kajewski. Rose's family is thankful to everyone at the Fulton Manor Care Center where she lived the past three years of her life and the place she called home.
