Wilma Carolyn Taylor-Martin, 90, of Oxford, Ohio, was called to our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born February 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Fred and Merle (Evans) Schreen of New Bloomfield, Missouri. Carolyn was married to John Parmer Taylor of Mokane, Missouri unitl his passing in 1988. Carolyn was the loving mother to Curt Taylor (Kimberly) of Oxford, Ohio and Chuck Taylor (Cindy) of Cleveland, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her son Chuck Taylor; her two sisters, Doris Livingston and Dorothy Campbell and three brothers, Udell Schreen, Freddy Schreen and Darrell Schreen. She was the youngest and last surviving member of the Schreen family. Carolyn had a lifelong special relationship with her niece Cynthia Schreen and her husband Mike Beck. Carolyn graduated from New Bloomfield High School and was an active alumnus. She was a long-time member of the Dixie Christian Church and Mokane Methodist Church. Carolyn was also a member of the New Bloomfield City Council. Carolyn started up a new Antique Shop in New Bloomfield, Mo. called "Carolyn's County Clutter" in 1996. She loved playing bridge, enjoyed dogs, fishing, antiques, farming and spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Debo Funeral Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at the Middle River Cemetery with her husband John Parmer Taylor.
