James Doyce Enloe, 78, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Missouri Veteran's Home in Mexico. He was born to the late James Enloe and the late Stella Gertrude (Opie) Enloe in Russellville, Missouri on April 20, 1943. On October 7, 1961, he married Naomi "Sue" (Kelsay) Enloe, who preceded him in death on June 14, 2020. James was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy. He retired as a Captain from the State of Missouri Department of Corrections following 30 years of employment. He volunteered his services as a fireman and also worked as an EMT. Not one to be idle, James was a jack-of-all-trades, specializing in wood working and carpentry. He also loved to fish and garden. He will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Barbara Walker (David) of New Bloomfield, Robin Teel (Gary) of Fulton, and Kimberly Behlmann (Brad) of Auxvasse; brothers, Carlton M. Enloe (Sara) of California, and Michael Enloe of Jefferson City; sister, Norma Martin (Lumpy) of High Point; grandchildren, Heather Newman (David), Lisa Walker (David Robert), Haley Teel (Charlie), Dakota Teel (Dillon), and Levi Case (Trish); great-grandchildren, Chase Bailey, Zephyr Newman, Ryver Newman, ZoeyJane Newman, Nolan Walker, Abigail Walker, Tracen Trimble, Fallon Trimble, Oliver Raithel, Samuel Serini, Arianna Case, and Tucker Case; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
