Cecil Paul Graves, 85, of Washington, Missouri, formerly of Fulton passed away at Big Bend Woods on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was born in Perryville, Missouri on September 2, 1936, to the late Cecil Henry Graves and the late Martha (Herberts) Graves. Cecil retired from the State of Missouri where he worked as a radiologist for more than 30 years at Fulton State Hospital and Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center. He also worked part-time for Callaway Hospital for 29 years. For many years, he owned and operated The Finish Line Bar and was the primary promotor for Capital Speedway. Active in the lives of his sons, Cecil coached many ball teams and served as President and member of Fulton Athletic Boosters. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. What brought him the most joy, was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by sons, C.D. Graves (Heather) of Fulton, and Sid Graves (Darla) of Fulton; sister, Jackie Huber (Bob) of Perryville, Mo.; grandchildren, Kyle Graves (Raylea Meyer), Cole Graves (Karli Leeper), Cierra Graves, and Kim Martin (Chris); great-grandchildren, Addi Martin, Jax Martin, Izzy Mae Coffman, Sarah Graves, and Holden Meyer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by sister, Janice Havenar and her husband Lee. Private family services will be held.
